Samsung Android Phone Flashing

Important things to consider while selecting Samsung flashfile.

1. Confirm the Device Model. 

Never confirm the model just by looking at 'about phone' in 'settings'

 Because You can edit the information in About phone. 

eg: If the model number is G935T, some phones can edit it to G935f, G9350 etc. 

So don't download the file by looking at the model in the settings. 

Check the model after putting the phone in download mode or recovery mode to know the actual model number.

2. Check the Boot Version. 

The file must be of the same or higher bootversion of the phone for flashing.

 To know the boot version of the phone, just switch to download or recovery mode.

 Example: Figure 1 shows B2 NS2 K2 S2 where B stands for bootversion. The bootversion of this phone is 2.

 That is why B2 is shown. The recovery mode of the same phone is in Figure 2. It shows A325FXXU2BVD5.

  U2 in the middle indicates Boot version.

This phone can be flashed only if the Boot version is 2 or above. If Bootversion is above 9, it will be shown as English characters in filename. Eg: If boot version is 10, it will show as B10 in download mode, but instead of 10 in Filename, the letter will be A

When checking Filename, the fourth character after the Model Number indicates the bootversion. 

eg: G970FXXSEFUI2 

Model Number: G970F

 Boot Version : E = 14
